Go to the light little buddy...

4th of july this year, I was hosing the driveway off, saw something rolling around, and almost mistook this guy for a dog turd. Must've fallen out of a tree or something. He looks perfect though.
Part chipmunk head,part jellyfish. I'm not gross,just curious : )

We lost 2 great contributors to the world last week,Eunice Shriver and Les Paul. There is something pretty in the silence of death.

Please all of you PETA members, don't even think about it.No this guy didn't become a casualty for arts' sake.My boss blew him away for reasons of his own.I just saw the opportunity to use my new (at the time) camera.

I just love all of the pieces of flesh with gravel clinging to them, and the tendrils and shreds of meat skin and fur at the neck.
Something very serene about it.
Seriously, 'nuff said

Speaking of survival, this is exactly why Detroit has failed, it has ceased to make noise and to have balls.Where is the Dodge Rebellion Girl when we need her?

Mr Jennings speaks for himself....God do I love him

Been listening to my 2 favorites most of the day....DR Hook & Waylon. If you're not familiar with Dr Hook, then you're just not fucked up enough to survive.

This is the CRAZY one.She must be the GIRL.

It's these two weirdos I gotta worry about. One's sneaky, the other one's completely insane, and they live here for free.Swear if I could make them get ajob,or at least clean up their own shit,I wouldn't have to worry too much.Wish all I had to do to qualify for welfare is be cute....
It's alright--Jason knows we love him.
He was acting like he wasn't posing for the camera though

Or we could sell to Christian Bale fans everywhere.

So my dog Jessco & I were laughing about how we could market a calender of my husband to gay guys....

Oh and of course---the wedding. These are my favorite shots, mostly taken while the bridal party was getting ready.

But this was the best of all. This was taken, honestly, seconds before a bicyclist rode right over it.

And I was confused. We were looking for food, walked into a burger joint, but thought it was some sort of Old Navy store.....

What looks to be a HEP A cafe, but I would've eaten there if we had the time.Stupidity is more brave than the stomach sometimes.
Some guy in a black jacked up Chevy truck with horrible mufflers (or lack thereof) kept circling the block right about here, right about where all the high school kids were congregating. Some things never change, except when I was a kid no one ever brought a baby in a stroller to hang out. : |

Beginnings of blisters were forming on my heel-shod feet, otherwise I'd have wanted to roam for hours taking pictures.I'm a sucker for signs and windows.Besides,my husband and sister(my 2 best friends--lucky me) were there and probably would've gotten restless.

I declare Boise the king of window displays.Never have seen anything I wanted to touch with my hands so badly!!!
Ha! that guy accosted me for taking his picture accidentally earlier that night.Guess I got the last say.
It was warm night too.Being from the desert, thought I'd at least need a sweater.
This place made me feel as if in a different world.Wanted to stay there so badly!

Jeez I'm new at this, can you tell?

Anywhooo that is the ghost of Michael the bartender. On the bar is the suberb gin fizz that he made the old fashioned way. This guy really enjoys his job.And he can tell you the whole history of the drink he's shakin' up for you. Someday when I own a bar,I'd love to shanghai this guy. My seester is there enjoying the Bijou cocktail that they offer.A very tasty drink indeed,so much so that I will be stocking my bar with its' ingredients.
This bar is the type of place you would venture into during the atomic era--hence its name.Serving up drinks from the same time period too.We went both nights we were in town, and I don't regret not going any place else.

And here we have the token "drunk idiot in the bathroom w/ a camera" shot.Man,I had to--and those who know me don'tsee me dressed up with curled hair too often...
This is my view from the commode.Probably the coolest bathroom ever next to mine at home...

We went to Boise,ID last weekend for my brothers' wedding.Had no clue what it would be like, and had never even considered going there...now I want to go back.
Would've had more time to explore, but got last-minute drafted into being a bridesmaid. No problem, the dress fit perfectly, and that's one thing on a list of firsts to cross off.It was a lot of fun,and the wedding was beautiful.
Now at the risk of soundin like a bar and restaurant critic----
If you EVER go to Boise, you must visit The Modern bar which is inside of The Modern Hotel.
First off,I walk into the bathroom, and there is a record player playng Elvis Presley's "Peace In The Valley".Kinda eerie, but I'm drunk, and love that song.Made pissing in a strange public restroom a lot more interesting than normal.Best thing is,you can play whatever you want to if you wanna hang out in the bathroom all night.
